Early Childhood Development Programs

Research show that children who receive Early Childhood Development'(ECD) interventions are statistically more likely to succeed academically, socially and in future careers. Highflyers'  ECD programs are designed to provide essential early learning, nutrition, health and child nurturing services that help the children achieve necessary growth milestones

Academic Programs

Our dedicated teachers provide a unique learning package aligned to the new Kenya Competency based curriculum that not only nurture academic excellence but also shapes character, resilience and independence. Highflyers is improving access to high quality academic programs from pre-primary 1 (PP1) to Junior Secondary School (JSS) for children from the local communities.

About Us

High Flyers Educational Centre is dedicated to equalizing access to early child care and academic programs for children by integrating child development space and safe learning environment. The Centre was established in the year 2013 in Kenya's Kisumu County as a small kindergarten within a rural community where countless children face significant barriers to accessing child care centres and quality education.   Read More...

Early Learning
The Centre provides a conducive early learning environment for children focused on play, cognitive and social skills, language and communication. This builds a strong foundation for the very young and sets the pace for future learning success in the center’s academic programs. .

Health and Nutrition

At highflyers, we ensure that the child’s basic nutrition needs are met while within the center and further educate caregivers on nutritional best practices for while the children are at home. High flyers provides two meals a day which in many instances is the only meal some the most underprivileged children receive.

Responsive care-giving

In addition to educating parents on responsive care giving, the Centre promotes positive caregiver-child interactions that form basis of secure attachment, foster emotional bonding, and develop communication and social skills for positive outcomes in children.

Academic Excellence

As an early implementer of Kenya’s new competency based curriculum, we offer enrichment programs in the arts, social sciences, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) ensuring our learners are prepared for future opportunities. Our students have been top performers during the national examinations and also participate in regional and national academic competitions, consistently ranking among the top performers. 

Co-curricular Activities

From sports and music to drama and art, we offer a wide range of co-curricular activities that foster creativity, teamwork, and discipline. These activities help our students build confidence and discover their unique talents. Our students have won a myriad of awards in national music and drama festivals and in sports.
